Courtney Tucker works for EBES as a office staff employee, She loves her job and being in the school setting. She is a Mother of Four wonderful children. Courtney is a native to Franklin County and grew up attending school and playing sports in Louisburg. She is currently enrolled pursuing her dream to become a teacher.

Ms. Vences is originally from Mexico but was raised in Franklin County, NC. She is proud to be a Franklin County Schools alum. She joined Franklin County Schools in August of 2019 and served as the receptionist at Edward Best Elementary for three years. Serving the EBES community is something she takes much pride in and is excited to be the data manager and treasurer at EBES. Some of her favorite things to do is spend time with friends, family and her cat (Archie), listen to Taylor Swift and travel.

Cynthia is a registered nurse who is passionate about caring for students and helping them feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. She earned her Associate of Nursing Degree at Vance-Granville Community College and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She brings extensive emergency nursing experience to her role as a school nurse. Cynthia loves working with children and being a positive, caring part of her school community.
