Exceptional Children

Kay Crickmore earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from NC Wesleyan University in Rocky Mount. She has been in the education field for 18 years. She has worked at Edward Best Elementary for 7 years, first as a second grade teacher and currently in the Special Education department.

Ms. Fosness graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Speech-Language and Auditory Pathology and a Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from East Carolina University. After 18 years of providing speech-language therapy services to the adult population in various medical settings, Ms. Fosness moved to Franklin County Schools in 2014 to begin her role as Speech-Language Pathologist at Edward Best Elementary, Terrell Lane Middle School and Louisburg High School.
