Instructional Coach

Alyssa Northburg grew up in Saratoga Springs, New York, and relocated to North Carolina in July 2014. She taught 2nd and 3rd grade before stepping into her current role as Instructional Coach. Alyssa earned both her Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education and her Master’s in Literacy from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. She is also a National Board Certified Teacher. Outside of work, Alyssa enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a proud mom to her sons, Carter and Kannon.
