Second Grade

"Hello, everyone! My name is Paris Copeland-Perry, I am thrilled to be a part of this amazing school community. I want to start by sharing with you my passion and enthusiasm for teaching. I believe that education is not just a job but a calling, and I'm genuinely excited to be in the classroom every day, helping our students grow and learn. I am a wife and a mother of three beautiful girls. I have 10+ yeares of experience in the preschool setting and 6 years in Elementary education. In my 16 years of teaching experience, I've had the privilege of working with diverse groups of students and collaborating with dedicated educators like all of you. I truly believe that every student has the potential to succeed, and my goal is to inspire and empower them to reach their full potential.

She has been teaching at EBES since 1998 and has taught kindergarten, second and third grades. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, gardening and reading.

Stephanie Valencia was raised in Franklin County, NC. She attended the University of Mount Olive where she received her degree in Elementary Education in 2018. She has been teaching first grade at Edward Best Elementary for 7 years and this will be her first year in second grade.
